PERSONAL TRAINING OPTIONS

WHAT PERSONAL TRAINING OPTIONS DO I HAVE?

I have 1on1 Personal Training as well as Online Personal Training available.

WHAT IS 1ON1 PERSONAL TRAINING & WHAT DOES IT INCLUDE?

1on1 Personal Training is done in person.  It is 45 minute or 60 minutes booked with me personally where I train you.

1on1 Personal Training includes:

  • Your initial body assessment and progress pictures
  • Meal Plan and Guidance
  • 45 minute or 60 minute training session(s) with me (this depends on the time you choose and how many times per week you choose)
  • Follow-up assessment every 6 – 8 weeks
  • Reassessment & Goal Setting
WHAT IS ONLINE PERSONAL TRAINING & WHAT DOES IT INCLUDE?

Online Personal Training is still done by me but not in person.  Your training program & Meal Guide will be delivered to you via my Online Training Portal.

Online Personal Training includes:

  • Initial consultation with assessment and photos. (If you are not in the area for me to do this personally, you can ask someone to do these for you.  This helps when it comes to formulating your program and meal plan)
  • Use of my Online Training Portal
  • Meal Plan & Guidance
  • Training program 
  • Weekly check-in’s: updated photos and measurements as well as video call/email/text to discuss your progress etc.
  • Updates to your training program every 5 – 6 weeks.
  • Changes to your meal plan as & when needed.
I HAVE DONE ONLINE COACHING BEFORE ... IT DIDN'T WORK, WHY WOULD THIS WORK?

My main goal with Personal training, whether online or 1on1 is to help my clients make a lifestyle change that is comfortable for them to stick with.  It’s not about just giving a meal plan and training program, it’s about finding what works and what you can stick to without feeling deprived or that your are losing out on life because you are on a “strict diet”.  Diet and training should become a way of life and not be seen as a punishment.

CAN I GET A TRIAL PERIOD?

I offer a 2 week trial period if requested, to give you an idea of how I work and what you can expect.

HOW LONG IS A CONTRACT?

There is no lock in contract.  I do require a minium of 2 month (8 weeks) commitment.  When you want to discontinue training, I require 1 month’s notice.

CAN I DO MONTH BY MONTH?

Yes! You can do month by month. The same notice period applies.

WHAT MAKES YOU DIFFERENT?

My passion, not only for fitness but for overall wellbeing, has been part of my life for over 18 years. When it comes to overall wellbeing there are many aspects that need to be taken into consideration. Wellbeing is a complex combination of a person’s physical, mental, emotional and social health factors.  I take all aspects into account when it comes to coaching.

WHAT RESULTS CAN I EXPECT WITH ONLINE AND 1ON1 PERSONAL TRAINING?

The sky is the limit!

You can expect the same results with online and in person Personal Training. Both options include meal guidelines and training.

Check out some of my testimonials for an idea of what’s possible from only one or two Personal Training sessions a week.

However, I believe it’s all the little things on top of achieving these goals that make the difference.

These people all started out just like you, so if you can make one or two sessions a week just like them, there’s no reason you won’t be making similar statements in a few months time!

HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE TO SEE RESULTS?

You may be able to see results in the first 6 – 8 weeks in both Online and 1on1 Personal Training. 

This, however, depends a large part on your nutrition.  You can work out as hard as you’d like.  If you do not adjust your eating and stick to the plan you won’t get your results.

CAN I GET THE SAME RESULTS WITH ONLINE PERSONAL TRAINING?

You can silence a notification on an app or delete an automated email, you can’t do the same to your REAL Trainer that genuinely cares!

Let’s face it, nothing beats working out in person with your Trainer there to guide and encourage you, but if that’s not possible then my online training option is the best solution! I will know if you skip a workout or don’t perform the exercises to the best of your ability, and I will follow up on you!

Your Online Personal Training program will be as unique as you are and specially formulated and put together for you.  You will never be just another number like with some celebrity endorsed training apps. Your program will be 100% designed for YOU and YOUR unique goals and requirements.

DELIVERY OF ONLINE PROGRAMS 

DO I HAVE TO JOIN A GYM TO TRAIN ONLINE?

No you don’t!!

You can invest in equipment to train from home (like dumbbells), but should you choose not to or are unable to, that is also ok!  I can work around that to accommodate you and you will still reach your goal.

WHAT IS YOUR ONLINE COACHING PLATFORM?

My online platform is powered by Trainerize.

You will have your own log in details where you will find your tailored meal plan and training plan set out on a calendar for you to see what you need to do each day. You will check in for every workout where I will then be notified that you are training.

This is where we will load your progress photos and measurements to track your progress.

 

Every exercise comes with a video to make sure you know exactly what to do and how to do it.

PRIVACY

WHO SEES MY PROGRESS PHOTOS AND MEASUREMENTS?

Only you and I will have access to your platform.  Should I want to use your progress for a “Client Spotlight” of the week because I am proud of your hard work and what you have achieved, your permission will be ask first.  Should you not want to share these results then it won’t be used.

CAN I SHARE MY WORKOUTS AND MEAL PLAN?

This is my profession & source of income & specifically designed for you, I ask that you DO NOT distribute your tailored program freely around to friends, family or anyone else. 

Each individual is different and not everything works for everybody and that’s why I go into so much detail before designing the program.

I will encourages and help you on a range of professional and personal issues. I will help empower you to meet your well-being and health goals.

I will help  you grow by analyzing your current situation, identifying limiting beliefs and other potential challenges and obstacles you face and devise a custom plan of action designed to help you achieve specific outcomes in your life.

I help you to break through obstacles that are holding you back.

IS LIFE & WELLNESS COACHING LIKE COUNSELLING?

No it’s not.

In life coaching, a client works with a coach, who is not a healthcare professional, in order to clarify goals and identify obstacles and problematic behaviors in order to create action plans to achieve desired results.

The process of life coaching takes the client’s current starting point as an acceptable neutral ground and is more action-based from that point onward.

A life coach enables the person receiving treatment to take control of their life and take action to steer it toward their goals.
